It’s no secret that Salman Khan is super protective about his ‘Dabangg’ heroine Sonakshi Sinha. And this protectiveness extends so far that Salman won’t even think of intimate scenes with Sonakshi on screen. Apparently, he has asked for a major rewrite in the script of their movie ‘Kick’ for this very reason.

‘Kick’ is a remake of the Telugu superhit with the same name, which starred Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz. The original has some intense and racy romantic scenes between Ravi and Ileana, and when Salman balked when he saw these. Reportedly, he absolutely refused to do such scenes with Sonakshi, whom he thinks of as a kid (she is 22 years his junior). This is one of the reasons that even their romantic scenes in ‘Dabangg’ were never overtly physical.

Apparently, Rajat Arora, who wrote the romantic track in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ (which Salman was impressed with) has been asked to rewrite the scenes for the Hindi version of ‘Kick’.

It seems that producer Sajid Nadiadwala understood Salman’s reservations about the intimate scenes with Sonakshi and has given his g-ahead for the rewrite.
